[it's very late in the afternoon. lúcio knows that 76 likes to stalk the streets during the day and retreat to his coffin at night, so he's trying to act quickly. it's not actually as hard as he thought it would be to break into 76's room; he expected a lot more traps.
sitting on 76's bed, he looks around. he's not here to steal anything, but he sure wants to annoy the guy. he's already left his frog stickers... now, what to move...]
[Lúcio will find that despite the fairly liveable kitchen and den area (thanks, Ana), 76's room is extremely spartan, and more what one might find in a shady safehouse for shady vigilantes, rather than the bedroom of a normal person. It's all military-neat, with no personal mementos, save for what is clearly a conspiracy wall. Just...ignore that, maybe.
BUT THEN SURPRISE. 76 is home early--or someone is, at least. There is the sound. Of someone coming through the front door. Hopefully it is just Ana. Right. Right???]
[if it was anyone else, he'd be gone the moment he heard the door.
actually, if it was anyone else he wouldn't have broken in. 76 is special.
lúcio makes sure he hides his frog sticks on the conspiracy wall. they don't cover up anything or ruin it, but 76 will surely find them when he goes to work on it again.
[The unfortunate thing is that 76 is highly paranoid—anything even remotely out of place gets his attention, and the slightest misalignment of his bedroom door has him on edge. He approaches, listens, and then finally decides to just bust on in.
For a moment he looks like he’s about to grab his gun and start shooting up the room, at least until he realizes just who is sitting on his bed. Then, it’s all exasperation, a barely disguised sigh as he stands in the doorway.]
Who let you in?
[It’s not out of the question that Ana would have, but if Lúcio up and decided he could break into their house, well. He’s about to have a bad time.]
[That is a complete misinterpretation of what actually happened, but whatever. 76 seems to realize he isn't going to win this one, and sighs accordingly.]
[he holds something out-- something small in a packet.]
Just some... biscuits. For your old man coffee.
[it was actually a DISTRACTIOn because lúcio seriously expected he would either have been shot by now or that he would've managed to escape. so he's just gonna... gently edge towards the door.]
[After a moment of looking like that packet is going to bite him, 76 reaches out and takes it, giving it a cursory inspection before folding his arms and looking decidedly unamused.]
You need me to help you out?
[Because he has about five seconds before 76 tosses him out. Again.]
[lúcio knows what the answer will be, and he knows he's lucky he hasn't been shot or beaten with a stick, but his life span extends every time he bothers 76 like this.]
[He's way, way too old for you, kiddo, and it doesn't seem like he wants to entertain questions about the conspiracy wall, either. 76 holds open the bedroom door.]
[Everyone else does. 76 doesn't exactly have much to hide anymore, and maybe he'll get Lúcio to back off if he's actually straightforward. On the other hand, it might just make him more incessant, but if they've graduated to literal breaking and entering, what else does he have left to lose?
Besides, there's always the possibility that the kid will just think he's joking. As deadpan as possible:]

Take your mask off and I'll tell ya.

[You are the intruder here, frog. You have no leverage.]
no subject
[oh, he knows.]
I thought you'd have more booby traps around, ya know. One of your windows was loose.
no subject
[Because he doesn't really care about the window. He's gonna throw you out, Lúcio.]
no subject
[he kicks his legs, dramatically.]
You're tearin' me apart, Lisa!
no subject
[This again.]
And you didn't drop by. You broke in.
no subject
[jack morrison, this is your life.]
Dropped by, dropped in through the window. Tomato, tomato, potato, potato!
no subject
[Otherwise he would have to be friends with a somewhat innumerable number of people. That’s not how this works, Lúcio.]
Come on. The real reason you’re here.
no subject
[lúcio is friends with everyone in rio. step it up.]
Alright, maybe I have something for you and maybe I wanted to see if you had a space mask layin' around.

[But 76 knows what's really being said here--Lúcio wants it to be explained to him, something he's obviously not very keen on doing.]

Or maybe it is! I'll have to see how you react to my real presents through the cameras I set up!

[He's gonna. smack that leggy down.]

There's somethin' about you, old man. I'm gonna figure it out.
[ONLY A MONTH LATER THAN EVERYONE ELSE. this is what happens when you're not in the overwatch circle, y'all.]
